If you’re experiencing a toothache or signs of infection like pain or swelling, you may have an infection in your tooth and you may need a root canal. We know root canals have a reputation as the standard for something you would really rather not do, but today, root canals are a fairly routine and painless procedure – usually no more uncomfortable than having a cavity filled.
Dr. Lance will make a small access hole in the tooth, through which he will carefully remove the infection. He will then sterilize and fill the chamber to prevent further infection, and finish the process with a crown to bring the tooth back to full health and function.
